The CAHFS standard necropsy fee includes histopathology and, unless otherwise indicated, most ancillary tests deemed necessary based on the necropsy. Please refer to the Test & Fee Finder for in-state and out-of-state test fees. The fees listed do not apply to research projects or insurance necropsies. NECROPSY FEES EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2025
Effective May 1, 2025, our necropsy fees will increase as shown in the table below. In addition, we will implement a 12 percent across-the-board increase in laboratory fees (including disposal fees) to account for inflation. All submissions will be charged a minimum of $5.00, even if the requested testing costs less than $5.00.
